Systems for Painters
Clean lines on the walls, clear answers online.
Most painting jobs start with someone asking "roughly how much to do our main floor?" Homeowners tend to choose the painter who replies quickly, shows tidy work and seems like they'll respect the house, not always the cheapest one. We build painters a site that helps with all three.
Common challenges
What slows down Painters
"Ballpark for three bedrooms and a hallway?"
No square footage, no photos, no ceiling height. You either drive out for an estimate on a job that may not suit you, or you guess and hope the number holds up.
Exterior season is short and it's all at once
In most of Canada there's a window between the last frost and the first snow, and everyone wants their stucco or siding done in June. Capturing and sorting those requests quickly makes the season far less hectic.
Great work that's hard to show
You do tight lines, proper prep and drop-cloth everything. It's just hard to stop mid-job for good photos, so your online gallery may not reflect the care you put in.
Homeowners worried about the mess
Will you move furniture? Patch the drywall dings? What about the dog? People stall on hiring when they can't picture how the job goes.
A Google profile that's fallen behind
Photos from a few seasons ago, few recent reviews and an outdated service area can make it harder for nearby homeowners to find you on Maps.
The solution
The system we'd build for you
A quote form built for painting
Interior or exterior, rooms or surfaces, ceilings and trim yes or no, rough timeline and a photo upload. Better info up front means fewer wasted site visits.
Before-and-after galleries
Kitchen cabinet refinishes, feature walls, full exteriors, fences and decks, sorted so a homeowner sees the kind of job they're planning.
A "how a job goes" page
Prep, protection, patching, colour selection, cleanup and touch-ups, step by step. It answers the mess question before it's asked.
Service pages that match how people search
Interior, exterior, cabinets, commercial repaints, condo and strata units. Each with its own photos and plain-English details.
A refreshed Google profile
Updated service area, recent job photos, a quote button and correct hours.
Review requests after the final walkthrough
Optional: a text once the job's signed off, linking straight to your Google review page.
Recommended package
Launch
Painters live on estimates and referrals. A Launch site with a solid quote form, before-and-after photos and an up-to-date Google profile brings in better estimate requests without adding software you won't open.
Popular add-ons for Painters
Wherever you are
Just starting, growing or decades in.
Whether you haven't opened yet or you've been at it for decades, here's how we'd help at each stage.
Starting out
Just an idea, or brand new
Going out on your own after years on someone else's crew? Start Your Company gives you a brand, a website with a quote form, business email and a Google listing, with logo files ready for the truck wrap.
Growing
Busy and getting busier
With two or three crews, quotes pile up fast. That's when we add a simple pipeline, gentle follow-ups on quotes that went quiet and a booking page for exterior season.
Established
Years or decades in
A painting company with decades of repeat customers has goodwill worth showing. We'll gather your best before-and-afters, keep the phone number everyone knows and modernize the site without changing how your office runs.
An example
What it could look like in real life
An illustration of how it could work. The business and details are made up for the example.
Say you're a three-person painting crew in Dartmouth covering most of Halifax. Winter is interior repaints and cabinets; summer is wall-to-wall exteriors. We build a five-page Launch site with separate interior, exterior and cabinet pages, a gallery for each, and a quote form that asks for photos and room counts. Requests land in your email already sorted by type. When spring arrives, an exterior booking page goes up so homeowners can reserve a spot early.
Questions we get
FAQ
Can homeowners upload photos with their quote request?
Yes. A few phone pictures of the rooms or the house let you quote more jobs remotely and decide which ones are worth the drive.
Should I show prices?
Most painters shouldn't publish fixed prices, because every wall is different. A "most bedrooms land between" range in a FAQ can help, but the quote form usually does the job.
I'm getting busier. When do I need the Business System?
When you're running multiple crews and quotes start slipping through the cracks. That's when a pipeline and automatic reminders earn their keep. Until then, Launch is plenty.
Do you write the content or do I?
We write it from a short call with you, in your voice. You send photos; we handle the rest and you approve before it goes live.
