Systems for Tattoo Artists & Studios
Your art is permanent. Getting booked with you can be simple.
A lot of tattoo inquiries start as a quick DM asking about price, before the client has thought about size or placement. We build artists and studios a site that gently does the screening for you: work sorted by style, books-open status front and centre, and a request path that collects size, placement and references before you reply.
Common challenges
What slows down Tattoo Artists & Studios
"How much for a small one?"
It's a fair question from someone new to tattoos, but without size or placement you can't quote it, and answering each one takes up your evenings.
Books open, and nobody knows
You announce on stories that your books are open, it disappears in a day, and half your regulars miss it. There's no permanent place that says open, closed or waitlist.
Your best work is hard to find
Someone wants fine-line botanical work. On a busy feed they scroll past flash day promos, the studio dog and older cover-ups before they find it.
Deposits that never arrive
A client shares a detailed concept, you sketch ideas, then things go quiet when it's time for the deposit. Usually they just didn't know your policy before they started.
Aftercare questions at midnight
"Is it supposed to look like this?" Day four, peeling, panicking. You answer the same healing questions over and over because there's no page to send them to.
The solution
The system we'd build for you
Portfolio sorted by style and artist
Blackwork, fine line, neo-traditional, colour realism, script, cover-ups. Each artist gets their own gallery so clients find the hand they actually want.
Books-open banner
One spot on the site that says whether books are open, closed or waitlist only. Change it once and it's true everywhere you link it.
A request form that asks the right things
Placement, approximate size in inches, colour or black and grey, reference images and budget range. Built into the site or connected to the form or booking tool you already use.
Deposit and policy page
Deposit amount rules, rescheduling notice, touch-up policy, age and ID requirements, all in plain language so serious clients read it before they request.
Flash and guest spot page
Post flash sheets and upcoming guest artists so walk-in days get a proper spotlight that stays up after the post scrolls away.
Aftercare guide
Your healing instructions as a page you can text in one link, written the way you explain it after a session.

Website Only
A tattoo studio lives on its portfolio and its booking request, not on dashboards. A site that shows your work by style and leads people into the way you already take deposits covers what you need.
Popular add-ons for Tattoo Artists & Studios
Wherever you are
Just starting, growing or decades in.
Whether you haven't opened yet or you've been at it for decades, here's how we'd help at each stage.
Starting out
Just an idea, or brand new
Going independent after your apprenticeship, or opening a first private studio? With Start Your Company we handle the setup in one go, from a logo that suits your style to the domain and a portfolio site, while you focus on your first clients.
Growing
Busy and getting busier
Once you're booking months out, the books-open banner and a waitlist form keep requests organized, and a second artist's gallery slots in without rebuilding anything.
Established
Years or decades in
Long-running studios have walk-in traditions and loyal collectors. We present your history and current artists in the studio's own style, without changing how your front counter runs.
An example
What it could look like in real life
An illustration of how it could work. The business and details are made up for the example.
Say you run a two-artist private studio in a busy Montreal neighbourhood. Requests arrive through DMs, email and the odd voicemail, and most are missing the details you need. We build a small site with each artist's work sorted by style, a books-open banner and a request form that asks for placement, size and references. Your deposit rules sit right above the submit button. Your inbox starts filling with requests you can actually quote.
Questions we get
FAQ
Can clients pay a deposit through the site?
If you already take deposits through a booking or payment tool, we link or embed it. If you handle deposits by e-transfer after a consult, we spell that out clearly so nobody's confused about how it works.
Will my tattoos look good on the site, or get blurry?
We size and compress images properly so healed shots stay crisp on a phone without slowing the page. Originals work best, rather than screenshots of your feed.
I'm a guest artist half the year. Is a site worth it?
Often, yes. Your studio may change, but your site stays put. It holds your portfolio, your upcoming cities and how to request, so clients can follow you from shop to shop.
Can it feel like our studio rather than a template?
That's the goal. Dark and heavy for blackwork, light and airy for fine line. We match the feel of your work.
