Systems for Personal Trainers

Help the right clients find you, understand your coaching and book a consult.

You coach six a.m. sessions, program in between, and answer messages in the gym parking lot. It's a lot to keep up with, and the people who'd be a great fit can get lost among quick price questions. We build trainers a site that explains who you coach and how, gently pre-qualifies people with a consult form, and keeps your Google profile working while you're cueing deadlifts.

Common challenges

What slows down Personal Trainers

Challenge 1

"How much for a session?"

Some people want a number first, and that's fair. Others need to understand your approach before they commit. A site that answers both helps everyone land in the right place.

Challenge 2

Your gym's site lists you as one of twelve

Training out of a commercial gym or shared studio often means a headshot and two lines. Having a site that's yours means your reputation travels with you.

Challenge 3

Instagram takes a lot of time

Reels, stories, form-check videos. They help, but someone searching Google for a trainer nearby may never see them, so a site gives you a second front door.

Challenge 4

Intake on paper or not at all

Goals, injuries, training history, schedule. Collecting it in the first session uses paid time, and skipping it can mean learning about a sore shoulder mid-press.

The solution

The system we'd build for you

01

Program pages that sell the outcome

One page per offer: one-on-one, semi-private, online coaching, specialty work like pre and postnatal or strength for older adults, each with who it's for and how it runs.

02

Free consult booking

A short pre-screen form (goals, schedule, experience, budget range) feeding into your calendar link or booking app, so the people who show up are already a fit.

03

Pre-session questionnaire

Training history, injuries, current activity, sent automatically after someone books so your first session starts with coaching, not paperwork. Medical clearance stays between you and the client.

04

Credentials front and centre

Your certifications, specialties and where you train, laid out clearly so a cautious beginner trusts you before they've met you.

05

Google profile that matches your setup

Whether you train out of a gym, a private studio or clients' homes, we set your profile up honestly so local searches find you.

06

Room to grow

Monthly edits for new programs, bootcamp dates or a change of gym, without you learning a website builder.

Recommended package

Launch

A trainer selling packages and consults needs more than a single page: real program pages, a consult form, Google set up properly and room for edits as you add classes. Launch covers that without adding software you don't need yet.

Wherever you are

Just starting, growing or decades in.

Whether you haven't opened yet or you've been at it for decades, here's how we'd help at each stage.

Stage 1

Starting out

Just an idea, or brand new

Just earned your certification or planning to go independent? Start Your Company can create your brand and set up your website, email and Google listing with consult booking built in, so you're ready to take clients from day one.

Stage 2

Growing

Busy and getting busier

When your schedule is mostly full, the consult form and intake questionnaire do the screening, and program pages make it easy to add semi-private groups or online coaching.

Stage 3

Established

Years or decades in

Coaches with a long client list and a solid referral network usually want a site that reflects their experience and specialties. We build around how you already work and keep it simple to update.

An example

What it could look like in real life

An illustration of how it could work. The business and details are made up for the example.

Picture a strength coach in Ottawa's Glebe who splits time between a private studio and online clients. Leads come in through Instagram, half of them asking only about price. We build a site with separate pages for in-person and online coaching, a consult form that asks about goals and availability up front, and an intake questionnaire that goes out after booking. The Google profile points to the studio. The DMs still come, but now there's a link that answers them.

Questions we get

FAQ

I train at a gym that isn't mine. Can I still do this?

Yes. Your site sells you, not the building. We describe where you train and can set your Google profile up as a service-area business if your gym's policies make that cleaner.

Can it sell online programs?

Yes. We can work alongside coaching apps like Trainerize or TrueCoach, linking to them and adding a payment link. A full membership platform is a bigger job, so we'd plan that separately.

Should my prices be on the site?

Most trainers do well with 'packages from' pricing. It screens out pure price shoppers while keeping room to recommend the right option at the consult.

What about before-and-after photos?

Only with written client permission, and we'd keep any claims honest. Real progress described plainly builds more trust than dramatic promises.
