Systems for Photographers

Your photos do the talking. We'll make booking you just as easy.

Photography sells on the work and books on the inquiry. Couples, families and marketing managers browse, compare a few photographers and reach out to the one who made it simple. We build photographers a site where galleries load fast, each type of shoot has its own page, and the inquiry form collects the date, location and budget before you reply.

Common challenges

What slows down Photographers

Challenge 1

A 40 MB hero image on a phone

Gorgeous on your calibrated monitor, slow to appear on someone's phone in a parking lot. Heavy galleries can soften the first impression before anyone sees a frame.

Challenge 2

"Are you available June 14?"

And that's the whole message. No venue, no guest count, no sense of what they're picturing, so it takes a few emails just to see if you're a fit.

Challenge 3

Weddings and headshots on one confusing page

A couple and an HR manager land on the same scroll of everything you've shot, and it's harder for either to see that you specialize in what they need.

Challenge 4

Pricing questions, every single inquiry

Whether or not you publish "collections starting at," people like a ballpark before getting on a call. A little guidance helps the right clients reach out with confidence.

Challenge 5

The quiet months

After the last fall wedding, the calendar slows until spring. Mini sessions, branding shoots and holiday family sessions can fill it once people know you offer them.

The solution

The system we'd build for you

01

Galleries that load on bad LTE

Properly compressed, lazy-loaded portfolio galleries that still look sharp. You pick the images; we make them fast.

02

One page per kind of shoot

Weddings and elopements, families and newborns, headshots and branding, commercial or real estate. Each speaks to that client with the right photos and a short "what to expect."

03

An inquiry form that qualifies

Date, location or venue, type of shoot, rough hours, guest count and budget range. You open the email knowing if it's a yes before you reply.

04

Mini-session and seasonal pages

Spin up a fall family day at a favourite local park or a holiday mini-session page in minutes, with its own sign-up link.

05

Connections to your client tools

We can work alongside tools like Pixieset or HoneyBook where they allow it, linking your gallery delivery, contracts and booking from the public site.

06

Google profile and analytics

A proper Business Profile with your best work, plus analytics so you can see which pages actually get inquiries.

Recommended package

Launch

Photographers need more than a portfolio page: a real inquiry flow, separate pages for each kind of shoot, and a Google presence. Launch covers that without dragging you into software you don't need.

Wherever you are

Just starting, growing or decades in.

Whether you haven't opened yet or you've been at it for decades, here's how we'd help at each stage.

Stage 1

Starting out

Just an idea, or brand new

Turning a side hustle into a real photography business? Start Your Company takes care of naming, branding, a portfolio site, business email and your Google profile, so your energy goes into the shoots.

Stage 2

Growing

Busy and getting busier

Adding second shooters, a new genre or a studio space? We split the site into clear service pages and shape the inquiry form around each kind of session.

Stage 3

Established

Years or decades in

Photographed weddings for twenty years and booked mostly by referral? We'll bring your archive forward with fast galleries and leave your contracts and delivery tools exactly as they are.

An example

What it could look like in real life

An illustration of how it could work. The business and details are made up for the example.

Take a wedding photographer based in Squamish who also shoots mountain elopements up the Sea to Sky corridor. The current site is one long scroll and a form asking for name, email and message. We split it into weddings, elopements and family sessions, each with its own gallery, and rebuild the inquiry form around date, location, hours of coverage and budget. A winter mini-session page goes live each November. Inquiries arrive with the facts needed to quote on the first reply.

Questions we get

FAQ

I already deliver galleries through a client gallery service. Does that stay?

Yes. Keep delivering client galleries where you do now. Your public site is the shop window, and we link to your gallery and booking tools where they allow it.

Should I publish my wedding prices?

A "most couples invest between" range or a starting price works well. It helps couples self-select and makes first conversations warmer. Full collections can stay in your PDF guide.

Will compressing my images make them look bad?

No. We size images for each screen and keep the quality high. Your originals stay untouched; the web just gets versions built to load fast.

Can you help me show up when couples search for a wedding photographer in my area?

It's a busy search. A strong site, an active Google profile and pages for specific venues and styles all help. Local SEO is an add-on if you'd like ongoing work on it.
